Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Aviation Escort Guard. The Aviation Escort Security Guard will be responsible for the security and safety of our client’s property and personnel. The Security Guard should know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Escort staff, visitors, and contractors within the Airport Restricted Areas in accordance with all applicable laws, by-laws, regulations, directives, and rules of the federal, provincial, or municipal governments or any other governing body whatsoever, which pertain to or, in any manner affect, the Airport and the business operations of the Proponent at the Airport in providing the Permitted Services
• Ensure that visitor passes are only issued to those individuals who require them in the course of their work, as well as those vehicles that are required to enter the Airport restricted areas, and ensure that such passes are visible at all times in the prescribed manner
• Observe and ensure that escorted individuals observe airside vehicle driving regulations
• Other duties as assigned such as traffic enforcement, foot, or vehicle patrol and/or static post relief
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED, or at least 5 years of verifiable employment history
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
• A valid G license for obtaining required clearances
• Additional licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Previous contract security, military, or law enforcement experience
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operators Permit)
