Job Description

Our client is a company that works in the pharmaceutical sector and is located in Laval. The position to be filled is in the finance team, as Accounting Manager - ERP (ERP).

The role will consist of supporting the team in the ultimate choice of the type of software, in its implementation and delivery.

This position is permanent, full-time with the possibility of working 3 days a week remote.

You will among other things

• Advise key stakeholders and SME of ERP project status and issues, or potential challenges on a regular basis;
• Identify opportunities to organize and standardize data and processes across systems that ensure effective integrations from an accounting perspective;
• Review and evaluate systems and procedures for efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with appropriate internal and external controls;
• Develop detailed testing scenarios, executing testing scripts, and document results;
• Oversee application testing which will be both automated and manual in multiple functional areas;
• Partners with leadership on daily management and analysis needs, including attending operational review meetings in order to stay abreast of business and industry trends;
  

Skills And Qualifications

Required for this position

• Bachelor’s in finance, business administration or accounting required
• CPA a good asset
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the field
• Relevant experience in the implementation and delivery of ERP systems
• Multi-site experience, services and multi-currency
• Experience in the clinical-pharmaceutical or related sector a good asset
• Bilingual in French and English
