Job Description

We are growing again! In Space Childcare Inc. is seeking a few full-time, funny, and loving ECEA for our Nanaimo, BC, location at 3255 Stephenson Point Road for our brand new 3-5-year-old program called Space Cubs. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in working in a fun, fast-paced environment and who enjoys working in a team environment.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work Monday through Friday up to 7:30am to 5:30pm (10 hour days) with the understanding when more then an 8 hour day is required it will be paid out as overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Some of our locations are on bus routes.
• Must be comfortable using a phone for tasks such as speaking with parents in our Procare app.
• Must be comfortable with the idea of speaking with parents and management daily.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision or in a group setting.
• Must be able to work as part of a team with others.
• Must be able to work in person at our Nanaimo, BC locations.
• Must have ECE Certification
• Must provide other paperwork that will be requested prior to starting with us, full list will be sent in job offer to successful new hire and may be asked about in the in person interview for those selected to attend.
