Dispatcher, Freight Trucking

Parkland Courier and Logistics is the reliable and economical solution for total freight movement. We are a family-owned company known for our incredible customer service, and now we are looking for a new addition to our tight-knit team.

DISPATCHER, FREIGHT TRUCKING

This person will work on daily truck dispatching in our courier and trucking market.

Duties will include:

. Dispatching LTL and Full Loads

. Planning Driver loads for deliveries and pickups

· Paperwork (hard copy) management and organization

· Delivery order processing and dispatching

· Driver scheduling

Skills:

· MUST have experience with:

Messenger Vans, Cube Vans, 5 Tons, Tractor Trailers and Flat Decks.

. Knowledge of “Drayage”

. Attention to detail

. Fast pace work environment capability

· Multi Tasking

· Freight Load planning

. MS Office experience

Successful Attributes:

· Telephone etiquette

· Effective and tactful communication skills

· Professionally dressed and groomed

· Punctual Ability to take simple phone calls in off hours

. Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas

Job Type: Full-time

• 10 hour shift

• LTL Dispatch: 2 years (required)
