Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. We have state-of-the-art potato processing plants in Prince Edward Island, Lethbridge, Alberta, and Jamestown, North Dakota, and an appetizer plant in Wheatley, Ontario. Our Head office is in Dieppe, New Brunswick and has sales office locations in Toronto, Montreal, and Boston.

Reporting to Vice President of Supply Chain, the successful candidate must be a customer focused people leader who thrives in a fast paced and ever-changing environment. As the Director, Supply Chain Planning you will work cross-functionally with internal and external customers to facilitate and execute the short and long-term sales and operational planning process. As an inspiring and collaborative leader, you will develop a highly engaged team that drives results and continuously adapts to an increasingly volatile marketplace.

The Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Post- Secondary education, University Degree or Technical Diploma with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in managing and developing people;
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence/persuade decision makers and to motivate team members;
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with a solid attention to detail;
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.
  • A proven ability to multitask on multiple projects while remaining focused, collaborative, driven and disciplined to quality work and timelines.
  • Previous exposure to market analytics and insights;

Key Responsibilities:

  • To enable end to end supply chain visibility, collaboration, and alignment across all partners in the supply chain.
  • Own, execute, and continuously improve the sales and operational planning process and the sales and executional planning process.
  • Create an exceptional employee experience. Attract, retain, and develop top supply chain talent by providing overall leadership and support, feedback, direction, and development opportunities.
  • Deliver best in class service levels thru the S&OP and S&OE planning processes.
  • Work collaboratively with partners across the supply chain to deliver value creating solutions for our customers.
