Summary:
Currently hiring a high-energy, entry-level digital photography team member to work with the marketing department. Primary responsibilities will include capturing high-quality still and video imagery of our facilities, vehicles, and people in our Ontario dealerships. This team member will apply basic image editing and pass the digital files to the marketing team.

Description:
Alpha Auto Group has created a new position for a Digital Photographer/Videographer to capture great images of our dealerships in action. Captured media will be used in our advertising and organic marketing in all of our digital spaces, including websites, social media, search advertising, and more.

Top candidates have a degree and/or recent experience in digital media capture for marketing. We’re looking for a highly creative team member who can work independently from shot lists prescribed by the marketing team. The Digital Photographer/Videographer will be assigned to capture images in all 9 of our Ontario dealerships, with most work being performed in the Ottawa area. This team member will then apply basic photo and video editing techniques with Adobe Creative Suite before transferring to our Digital Marketing Specialists.

This media specialist will need to produce a high-quality product within deadlines while working with store teams to create the most intriguing shots of our stores and their activities. With full control of composition and quality, we need an independent, responsible person who can manage their time and task lists well.

Requirements:

• Degree preferred in communications, media, journalism, marketing, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience using a DSLR camera for both still and video imagery
• Ability to meet our needs for high volume and high quality within deadlines
• Intermediate experience with digital photo/video tools in Adobe Creative Suite
• Web-accessible portfolio of prior work examples*
• Dependable vehicle for travel between our Ontario stores in Ottawa, Whitby, and Barrie. (Vehicle allowance included.)
• Clean driving record
• Reside in or near Ottawa
