IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR DELIVERY DRIVERS

We are hiring delivery drivers in Lower Mainland, BC. (Full-time & Part-Time). The position consists of delivering and picking up packages with the highest level of customer service and accuracy is the key to your success.

As a delivery driver, you will be loading/unloading packages into the vehicles as required, lifting up to 50lbs (23Kg), delivering packages to customers’ homes, businesses, and apartment buildings. This is a fast-paced position that requires individuals to work at a quick pace while still being organized, accurate, and safe.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages in a timely and efficient manner
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable using a smartphone
• Comfortable sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time, including climbing stairs
• Comfortable getting in and out of a van multiple times a day
• Self-motivated, responsible and punctual
• Effective communication skills with our customers and operational team
  

Requirements

• MUST have a valid Class 5 driver license (No N / L)
• Ability to drive a cargo van
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs (23Kg)
• Ability to drive in traffic
• Clean driver abstract (Driving Record)
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Available to start work immediately
  

Experience

• Efficient time management
• Great knowledge of the Lower Mainland
• Ability to follow the direction of Supervisor / Dispatcher
• Capable of working under time constraints to get packages delivered to customers on time
• Positive attitude, good communication skills, great customer service, and ability to work well in a team environment
• Previous courier or delivery driver experience with Skip the Dishes, UPS, FedEx etc. is an asset
