We are looking for someone who is outgoing and has a positive attitude for an exciting Delivery Driver and Material Handler opportunity in Fredericton, New Brunswick! Bilingual candidates will be given preference.

Our client, a successful corporation for over 100 years in Canada is recognized by their customers as the “distributor of choice” in the construction market. We are looking for candidates with strong customer service skills, as you will be the face of the company!

The Delivery Driver and Material Handler will load the truck at the warehouse using forklifts and other equipment, and transport customer orders to delivery locations. They are responsible for properly securing loads, completing pre-trip inspections, following safety regulations and traffic laws. As part of the warehouse team, receiving shipments may also be required. Packing slips and computer systems will also be used to track inventory.

The successful candidate must be a quick learner, able to work in a team environment and possess strong attention to detail and organization skills. They must have strong communication skills, and bilingualism is an asset. Possession of a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract are required and experience driving a truck and making deliveries is preferred.

This is a Full Time-Permanent role, where you will be provided with a base salary, bonus structure, benefits program and RRSP matching.
