Data Science Intern (8 months)

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a cognitive data scientist, you will be learning and applying data science and AI. You will help develop data-driven applications by building data science pipelines, deploying machine learning models, and exploring new frameworks. Most importantly, you will be democratizing access to data science and artificial intelligence skills by creating instructional content to teach
others.

We are an emerging technologies team. That means we make bets about what’s coming next, not just what is popular today. Generative modeling and adversarial networks (GANs), deep learning, self-driving cars, AI, and more AI.

Must be eligible to work an 8 month term commencing Jan 2022.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Python programming language
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• R programming language
• One of data visualization, data cleaning, machine learning, deep learning, visual recognition, text mining, or NLP
• Ability to summarize complex subjects simply
• Ability to express yourself equally well in conversation and in writing
• SQL
• Git

Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
