Colonnade BridgePort is headquartered in Ottawa with offices in the Greater Toronto Area (“GTA”), and our continued growth and expansion has created an opportunity for an experienced full-time Data Analyst located in Ottawa.

DATA ANALYST

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Data Analystwill be part of the team responsible for the design, operation, and maintenance of the company’s data strategy. This individual will be involved in the extraction, transformation, loading, and visualization of data to create a flexible and scalable information platform for both internal and external users. They will also be responsible for maintaining the quality and stability of the various platforms that data is held and interrogated by internal and external parties.

So that you know what to expect on any given day, you’ll be doing one or all these things:

• Using SQL and Talend to create Jobs/Joblets for data cleansing, data validation, and data transformation.
• Maintain and monitor database environments.
• Managing data quality, reliability, and integrity.
• Assist in the building and improving of our SharePoint environment.
• Special projects as required and assigned.

The qualifications or skills we would like you to bring to the position include:

• Experience in working with Data sets and writing complex yet efficient SQL.
  • Experience with SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, External tables, partitions, and exception handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking, and migrating complex data sets.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Query.
• Experience in using Data Visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience in developing Talend Jobs/Joblets for data cleansing, data validation, and data transformation (an asset).
• Experience working with SharePoint Power Apps , json, htmls, java (an asset).
• Talend, ETL/ELT certification (an asset).
• Experience in ETL and Data migration projects (an asset).
• Self Learner with strong communication skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines, multitask and prioritize workload.
