Airbus’ ties to Canada were deepened in October 2017 when Airbus sought to acquire a majority stake in the C Series Aircraft Limited Partnership (renamed Airbus Canada Limited Partnership in June 2019), the entity that manufactures and sells Bombardier’s single-aisle C Series jets- rebranded the A220 Family, with its two versions designated the A220-100 and A220-300. The partnership markets, manufactures and supports the A220 Family worldwide.

In your role, you will:

  • Define technical solutions in your area of expertise to meet business objectives
  • Be the recognized authority in Mass Properties, be accountable for development or research and to formulate broad approaches for solving complex problems
  • Provide guidance and influence within the organization in area(s) of expertise
  • Perform Calculation, analysis and documentation of aircraft Mass Properties data
  • Write reports demonstrating compliance with airworthiness regulations
  • Support flight testing
  • Define and put in place processes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering
  • You have over of 5 years of relevant experience in specific aerospace engineering fields
  • You are capable to develop oneself and have a preference for teamwork
  • You are flexible and driven for results
  • You are interested in developing others, influencing others
  • You are capable to provide technical leadership coaching, mentoring and training to qualified specialists.
