As a contract cleaner your main responsibility is to perform cleaning duties or assigned duties in Pacing, Warehouse, Flour Mill and Elevator as needed.

Your day to day activities will include:

• Performs cleaning duties in specific Packing, Warehouse, Flour Mill and Elevator areas when required. Maintains housekeeping areas by sweeping, vacuuming and blowing down with air.
• Responsible for adhering to all environmental, health and safety policies, procedures, and directives.
• At start of shift in your designated area will assess priorities with a general walk through.
• Responsible for garbage disposal in all departments and dumping of RTM when needed.
• Attention to daily cleaning of unusual situations.
• Ensure Master Cleaning Schedule Documents are completed daily.
• In cases where a department or departments are short of employees, the Cleaner 2 positions will fill the vacancies on a qualification basis.
  

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent (e.g. GED 12).
• Physically fit with the ability to meet the physical requirements of the job including regularly required to stand, walk climb stair.crouch, pull upto 25lbs and lift upto 50lbs.
• Dependable and flexible in scheduling with ability to work shift work, including weekends, holiday and or overtime as required
• Effectively communicate in English
• Ability to work in an environment subject to heat, humidity and dust allergens
• Positive, professional approach, and attitude and comply to all Good Manufacturing Practices.
