Are you a people-person that enjoys meeting new people and providing excellent guest service? Elements Casino Surrey is looking for energetic, outgoing and detail oriented individuals who are interested in becoming our next Dealer. No previous card dealing experience is needed as training will be provided for successful candidates. This position requires schedule flexibility including evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Deals card games; may deal poker
  • Provide exceptional guest service while conducting all games in a precise, efficient and secure manner
  • Exchanges customer cash and promotional vouchers for equivalent value chips
  • Controls the order of play; closes bets at the appropriate time; facilitates pay and take accordingly; maintains game integrity
  • Maintains table security
  • Handle guest requests in a courteous manner
  • Reports disputes, irregularities and suspicious activities
  • Verifies chip fills and credits
  • Maintains a tidy workstation
  • Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Builds strong working relationships with guests and employees
  • Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, Post Secondary an asset
  • Serving it Right Certification
  • Dealer certification (training provided)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service
  • Strong math and communication skills
  • Manual dexterity and ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Proven excellent Guest/Customer Service skills
  • Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check through Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
