Looking for a C++ Developer to join its globally recognized Automotive Client!!

• Description:* The Architecture and Software Platform group is responsible for the software platform that enables connectivity and advanced application features within next-generation Client’s vehicles. The team is designing and building the next-generation software platform for the FNV4 vehicle architecture structured around high-performance compute clusters and zonal aggregators. Working as a member of this software team, the successful candidate will be involved in cutting-edge embedded software development, working on system components that either provide enabling frameworks or additional functional services above the operating system services and drivers.
  
  

Primary responsibilities will include the investigation, design, implementation, testing, profiling, and maintenance of such software.

The candidate will work as part of a high-performing development team and will be encouraged to contribute ideas and solutions as part of their daily work. Development is in C++ and follows an agile methodology. This position will provide the candidate with the unique opportunity to gain experience in developing cutting-edge software and services with an industry leader.

• Responsibilities: *
• Design, development, and validation of software solutions including those related to vehicle diagnostics.
• Analyze requirements including those related to vehicle diagnostics.
• Cross-functional collaboration with teams to design and implement efficient and cost-effective software solutions that span multiple domains.
• Documenting and validating software designs.
• Bug fixing and maintenance.
• Skills:* C++, multithreading, linux, unix, qnx, ipc, Python, Debug, Middleware, Software development, Development, Rtos, Coding, Object-oriented programming
• Additional Skills & Qualifications:* MUST HAVE SKILLS:
• C++ (11, 14, 17, 20) 14 is preferred
• Embedded POSIX experience (Linux or Unix)
• MULTITHREADING experience NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
• Working knowledge of inter-process communication, memory management, code optimization, and efficient C++ API design.
• Experience with source code control systems such as Git.
• Creative and analytical thinker.
• Methodical; capable of prioritizing work and working to tight deadlines.
• An excellent communicator, both oral and written. OPTIONAL:
• Diagnostics Experience
• Automotive
• Exposure to autosar (classic or adaptive)
• Excellent understanding of the CAN protocols including CAN FD
• Familiar with Autosar Classic CAN Communication stack (PDUR, CAN TP, CAN Interface, CAN Transceiver Driver, CAN Diver )
• Excellent understanding of the diagnostic protocols UDS (ISO 14229-1), DoIP (ISO 13400-2)
• Familiar with OBD-II SAE standards (SAE J1962, J1979 )
• Familiar with Autosar Classic Diagnostic stack (DEM,DCM,DoIP,PDUR)
