Butchers participate in operations in different departments: beef, pork and marinated. Their role is to prepare the different cuts of meat and produce the orders of the customers. They must respect safety and hygiene standards. Under the direction of supervisors and team leaders, butchers must perform the various tasks assigned in order to deliver the products ordered.

Responsibility

• Assembly and disassembly the saws
• Use cutting tools and machines
• Quality control
• Respect safety standards
  

Qualifications Required

• Must be legally able to work in Canada
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or diploma in butchery (an asset)
• Experience in food processing (an asset)
• Good dexterity
• Ability to work in a cool environment (0-4 Degree)
• Be able to lift loads of 20 to 60 pounds
• Confortable with meats: Beef, Pork & Marinated
