Janssen is recruiting for a Business Analyst - IT Lead to be located in Toronto, ON.

This role is responsible for partnering with business teams in order to achieve their business goals through the application of technology tools and systems, with specific focus on CRM and digital technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages strategic relationships with internal partners by representing and promoting IT capabilities, and acts as a single point of contact for IT-related business interactions with those partners.
• Partners with internal technology teams to help shape J&J technology standards and to apply those standards where possible.
• Collaborates with other Business Technology Team members to share standard methodologies and lessons learned in areas of subject matter expertise.
• Leads assignments, programs and projects of moderate to high complexity, ensuring that project plans are defined and executed to achieve the business and technical objectives while following Software Development Lifecycle methodology, validation rules or compliance guidelines as needed.
• Provides business partners with innovative solutions and recommendations applying J&J technologies where possible.
• Deploys standards and procedures for IT in alignment with the global/regional IT organizations’ practices.
• Works with business owners to develop training plans and materials; assesses training requirements and recommends training, organizational change, communication and execution plans.
• Partners with business in managing technology vendor relationships and contractual agreements.
• Capable of operating within a complex global organization to successfully achieve business goals.
• Responsible for managing business partner concerns, and ensuring issues are handled in a timely manner.
• Provides ongoing system support as required.
  
  

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Business or Information Technology related program or equivalent.

Required

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 4 years business and/or technology management experience, including team and project management
• Strong analytical skills, including a detailed understanding of translating customer business needs into technology requirements, as well as budget and resource planning
• Extensive experience in partnering and collaborating with business partners, technology teams, stakeholders and vendors
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills (critical thinking)
• Strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
• Proven track record of delivering results
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with Veeva CRM and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be an asset
