Acumatica is looking for a Business Analyst - Associate Product Owner to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada!

Responsibilities
  • Analyze business issues, define requirements, design computer programs, and recommend automated system controls and protocols to solve organizational information issues.
  • Determine operational objectives, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats.
  • Work closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements. Identify project milestones, phases, and elements, and keep team within timeline and budget.
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications.
  • Develop organizational change management framework and conduct user acceptance testing.
  • Maintain automated system protocols by writing and updating procedures. May create end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and deliver training.
  • Partner with business and technical teams in establishing project teams and providing overall direction for the technology development components of projects from initiation through to delivery.
  • Perform project estimation, budget management, formulate project scope and delivery strategies, establish milestones/schedules, maintain and report project status, and monitor progress of all team members.
  • Gather required data from end-users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications.
  • Serve as liaisons between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
  • Keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of ERP/CRM experience required. Payroll experience is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and categorize issues in the context of organizational and functional objectives.
  • In-depth functional, technical and market knowledge enabling the provision of appropriate solutions.
  • Solid understanding of current market trends from solution, vendor and end user perspective
  • Demonstrable project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
