Small local manufacturing company has an opening for an independent multi-tasker. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self motivated and enjoys a quiet working environment. This is a weekday part time position with the potential for flexible hours, currently, the position is 9am to 2pm.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the company’s financial data, including A/R, A/P, manual payroll calculations, daily financial entries and reconciliations, quarterly PST & GST and annual WCB filings.

-Bi-weekly payroll preparation
-Filing GST, PST and payroll taxes
-Preparing invoices for daily orders, create shipping labels with various carriers
-Document preparation for shipping products to and receiving returns from the US
-Receiving and allocating payments
-Preparing and sending statements to customers
-Prepare bank deposits
-Maintain office filing system for receivables, payables, payroll and other
-Prepare T4s and ROEs
-Answer phones and reply to customer’s emails.

-Education, Experience Requirements:

One+ years’ experience in an office setting
Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
Proficient with QuickBooks and Excel
