• Description:* Assistant Procedures writing Under the supervision of the manager, material management, the Procedures Writing Assistant will document and format various material management processes & procedures following the internal templates and supported by subject matter experts. The documentation includes purpose, summary, flow chart and a text describing each steps.
• Attend meeting with the SME to draft the new processes or modification to existing ones.
• Modify existing processes & procedures based on SME feedback
• Create new processes & procedures documentation based on SME directives
• Based on SME experience, create a visual flow chart of cross functional processes using Visio
• Based on SME experience, describe each step of the flow chart in a Microsoft Word document.
• Synthetize explanation from the SME to keep the essential information
• Summarize the process or procedure to describe its purpose
• Format the processes & procedures following company standards and templates
• Name and classify the processes and procedures following company standards
• Translate processes & procedures in English and French
• Validate the each final document with the SME
• Must haves:*
• 1-2 years of admin experience/ secretary
• DEC in administration
• Bilingual verbal and written
• MS Visio ( flow chart)
• MS word
• Acrobat reader
• Asset:*
• Someone who has translating experience in English and french
• Technical written
• Disqualifier:*
• Due to background check purposes, the individual has to be a Canadian citizen/ and have been in Canada for the last 10 years with no 3 month gaps.
