Job Title: Assistant Manager

Location: London, Ontario

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm

Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 per year

You are a great communicator and relationship builder, very personable with a ready smile and a positive, can-do attitude. Having a background in real estate is imperative, as you will be dealing with listing agreements, offers, and issues relating to transactions and compliance.

Assistant Manager duties and responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that the brokerage complies with the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002 and its regulations, Fintrac C.A.S.L., Competition Act
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and management of new salespeople and office staff who fit the culture and meet hiring standards of brokerage
  • Responsible for overseeing agent onboarding and orientation on company policies, systems; ensure agents are equipped with required software programs
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and support to salespeople to assist with productivity and maintenance of brokerage’s sales targets, while in a non-selling role
  • Responsible for implementing and participating in formal real estate sales coaching programs such as Buffini, Craig Proctor, Mitch Robbins, Tom Ferry as well as onsite, online training
  • Work closely with the Brokerage Owner to ensure brokerage and staff comply with corporate policies and standards
  • Provide guidance to resolve problems and complications that arise during the real estate sales process.
  • Assist Manager with preparation of materials for meetings, workshops and special projects (prepare spreadsheets of weekly/monthly sales statistics, organize goal setting, tracking & reporting, expense management & profitability)
  • Oversee and assist with all brokerage and agent marketing and social media platforms
  • Tech savvy in this role is a key component as they would assist agents with our brokerage’s systems
  • Assist with coordinating and successfully executing marketing and office events

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years previous experience in a senior administrative role in a real estate brokerage
  • Knowledge of Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002 and its regulations, Fintrac, C.A.S.L., Competition Act
  • Previous experience with coaching programs such as Buffini, Craig Proctor, Mitch Robbins, Tom Ferry
  • Deadline driven and extremely organized with the ability to quickly assess and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and high-level accuracy with documents
  • Learning-based and solution-oriented
  • Innovation, tech savvy, ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues
  • Professional demeanor, highly flexible and service oriented with strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for being helpful and supportive of the entire brokerage in achieving their goals
  • High level of computer proficiency in a Windows environment
  • Experience with real estate software systems and social media platforms is ideal
