P osition Overview

The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for the execution of food innovation, promotional material development and budgeting to drive corporate and franchised sales, increase guest count and build brand loyalty and will champion the strategy and execution of the Brand’s Social Media, Digital Media, CRM and Mobile App growth strategy

What you will do in this role
  • Develop and execute marketing POP programs such as food promotions, events or tests
  • Communicate marketing program details with cross functional teams and Franchisee community
  • Provide support to the food innovation team through project management with a focus on leading key food projects
  • Assist with the development of creative strategy and executions working with the brand lead and partners on specific programs
  • Execute all restaurant print and menu design by leading photoshoots and working closely with the Director of Operations
  • Help develop the brand’s Social Media and E-mail strategy and content calendars
  • Lead the development of the required assets to fuelcontent ( including orchestrating photo and video shoots as required, & identifying user generated content opportunities)
  • Work collaboratively with other Recipe marketing and operations teams to maximize synergies across brands
  • Execute brand partnership tactics while reviewing all materials will partners
  • Ensure all programs are executed with excellence
  • Ensure all marketing, media and advertising initiatives consistently delivers growth with focus on traffic
  • Manage day to day invoicing and budgeting of the Marketing Ad Fund
  • Work with multiple partnering organizations on the delivery of marketing programs
What we are looking for from you
  • University Degree/Bonus Points for BBA or BCOMM
  • 2-5 years of brand management or marketing experience - restaurant or retail experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Extremely efficient worker
  • A fun can-do attitude and team player
Role Expectations
  • Work is performed at the Recipe Restaurant Support Centre in Vaughan 2 days a week
  • 5% Travel required including the possibility of working evenings and weekends as needed
  • Working on projects frequently requiring attention and prioritization.
  • Frequent periods of concentration to analyze documents/projects and identify options and solutions
  • Frequent unexpected change in work demands, inclusive of changes to deadlines on short notice and tight time pressures
  • Occasional uncertainty of next steps requiring patience and ability to ask questions.
  • Travel to franchisees events and conferences and visits to stores (corporate and franchised)
