Planete Mazda is searching for an Accounting Clerk to join our growing team! Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for providing support to the Accounting Team. The position will be responsible for aiding the accounting team and facilitating accounting activities within the dealership.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Daily and monthly reconciliations, and account reconciliations.
  • Posting of Accounts Payable invoices.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Prepare and post bank deposits.
  • Assist with posting deals.
  • Manage sublet and warranty schedules.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end financial statement preparations and closing process.
  • General administrative duties, including answering phones.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Your Capabilities And Credentials
  • Candidate must be bilingual (French- English)
  • Accounting Certificate – experience in a similar role, will also be considered.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • Experience with CDK software would be considered an asset.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to interact with internal clients, key vendors, and employees.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with an ability to multi-task and set priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, handling multiple priorities, performing a variety of tasks and meeting required deadlines.
  • Dependable and reliable.
