Positions Available: 4 Shift: Day Shift (Saturday, Sunday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm) Summary: Our Sanitation Team is our first line of defense. Sanitation employees are primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of production/process equipment, and some of the facility’s common areas. Responsibilities: Prepare production equipment for cleaning by disassembling, cleaning, and sanitizing all food-processing equipment, including storage areas, common areas such as floors, drains, and walls. Safely operate cleaning equipment including, but not limited to floor scrubber, vacuum system and portable tank foamer, and other cleaning tools. Safely work with chemicals and follow chemical usage labels for application and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct self-inspections after task completion to ensure cleanliness, and compliance with all food safety regulations and guidelines to minimize potential food safety risks Performs all tasks in accordance with GMP’s, company policies, and procedures Requirements: Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must have a good grasp of the English language, and be able to communicate, read, write and follow detailed instructions, as it relates to the job, and safety regulations. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task. Mechanical aptitude is an asset. Working Conditions: Must be physically fit and able to handle the physically demanding nature of the position Good hand/eye coordination, and motor skills.
