Robert Half currently has an excellent opening for a highly-skilled and ambitious Data Entry Clerk in the detail oriented Services industry who is looking to start their career with us! We are seeking a data-savvy detail oriented who is keen to pick up on important details and looking to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment. Intermediate experience in spreadsheets and proficiency in database management required. Do you have fast and accurate typing skills and impeccable organization? Then this is the Data Entry Specialist position for you. This long-term contract / contract / contract / temporary Data Entry Clerk role is based in the Richmond Hill, Ontario area.

Responsibilities

• Explore the internet for information
• Categorize information into spreadsheets, databases and customer relationship management systems
• Survey reports and sheets of data
• Keep detailed records of tasks, files, and progress
• Review and remove nonessential data as well as combine data from multiple sources
• Review completed work for content errors or duplicate values before presenting the final product
• Seek further information for documents that are considered to be incomplete
  

Requirements

• Data entry experience preferred
• Solid understanding of numeric data entry
• Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
• Excellent typing accuracy
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• 1+ years of related experience
