Job Brief

This position is accountable to provide the highest levels of internal and external customer support. This encompasses accurate order taking, invoicing, inventory movements / counts and processing purchase order requisitions and other related tasks.

What You’ll Do

As the Customer Service Representative, you will be supporting the team by professionally analyzing and answering internal and external customer inquiries, and assist in extracting related reports. This position will require understanding of the businesses hierarchy and workflow and communication is critical and ongoing aspect of the position. Other duties will include:
  • Communicate with operational sites to co-ordinate deliveries.
  • Ensure customer deliveries include all contractual changes and are invoiced in a timely manner, in order to maximize cash flow and relieve inventory in SAP.
  • Professionally analyze and answer customer inquiries and to provide assistance extracting related reports where required.
  • Have a basic understanding of other areas of the business and the impact each area has on one another.
  • Understand and maintain customer profiles to reflect customer(s) contract.
  • Product Knowledge directly related to customer needs.
  • Maximize cash flow through timely billing of accounts receivable.
  • Resolve internal and external customer inquiries via e-mail and telephone.
  • Coordinate and book employee travel and process expense reimbursements
  • Assist sites with goods receipts, issues, open PO’s and transfers for accurate SAP data.
  • Assist in month end reporting.
What We’re Looking For
  • High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with an ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) required. SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • A combination of education and/or two years of related work experience in a mid to large sized organization.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Ability to comply with all government tax regulations and laws in accordance with invoicing policies.
  • May need to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
