Job Summary

Contribute to the administration of justice in a legal environment

The Court Clerk provides administrative support to all levels of court in the province by performing pre-court, in-court and post court duties and may also provide counter services.

Job Requirements:

• Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years clerical experience, education, and/or training.
• Minimum one (1) year experience delivering customer service.
• Preference may given to applicants with the following:
  • Experience with CCD, JUSTIN, and/or CEIS.
  • Experience working in a legal office environment or court registry.

Provisos/Willingness Statements

• Travel may be required.
• Must have a keyboarding speed of 50 words per minute.
• Exposure to unpleasant dealings with the public and clients.
• Successful completion of security clearances, including personal data and criminal records checks, are a condition of employment for this position.
