Contribute to the administration of justice in a legal environment
The Court Clerk provides administrative support to all levels of court in the province by performing pre-court, in-court and post court duties and may also provide counter services.
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years clerical experience, education, and/or training.
- Minimum one (1) year experience delivering customer service.
- Preference may given to applicants with the following:
- Experience with CCD, JUSTIN, and/or CEIS.
- Experience working in a legal office environment or court registry.
Provisos/Willingness Statements
- Travel may be required.
- Must have a keyboarding speed of 50 words per minute.
- Exposure to unpleasant dealings with the public and clients.
- Successful completion of security clearances, including personal data and criminal records checks, are a condition of employment for this position.
