The Opportunity:

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing cost estimates for a diverse range of projects, including residential, light commercial, institutional, and agricultural undertakings. Your responsibilities will encompass utilizing blueprint reading and your industry expertise to create quantity statements and estimate documents for client presentations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Receiving and documenting estimate requests, maintaining a request follow-up report.
• Ensuring compliance with client specifications, and if necessary, collaborating with cross-functional teams to make recommendations.
• Assessing the materials required for each construction project, tailoring them to meet the unique needs and project specifics of each client.
• Continuously evaluating the profitability of products and services in relation to project requirements, while maintaining acceptable profit margins.
• Regularly preparing and maintaining all necessary documentation to ensure the availability of equipment and support for project execution.
• Monitoring project progress and taking the necessary actions to secure project orders.
• Providing technical support and addressing customer inquiries related to the products, maintenance, and warranty programs.
• Assisting the sales team in resolving issues and responding to technical queries concerning our products and their applications.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

• A college diploma in architectural design or a related field.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience at this level.
• Experience with architectural panels, insulated panels, or metal is an asset.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading is advantageous.
• Bilingual proficiency in both French and English
• Proficiency in MS Office suite software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Demonstrated initiative and experience in project management.
• A team player with the ability to work effectively within a multifunctional team.
