What You Will Do:

  • Manages daily operations across the Receiving, Warehouse and Shipping departments. Ensures functions within these areas are dependable and efficient
  • Ensures P/O and amounts received match in quantity
  • Oversee the Kanban system in the Warehouse
  • Ensure warehouse locators are accurate in Oracle
  • Responsible for accurate counts in the Warehouse to match Oracle
  • Responsibility for matching physical material movements within oracle, i.e. Sub inventory movements, staging etc…
  • Responsible for on-time shipment of products to Oil Lift customers, including packaging of prodcut in a safe manner
  • Ensure Oracle paperwork is complete and accurate
  • Assist with coordination of shipping documentation and proformas, providing timely response to the Sales department
  • Review Product Shipping schedule is in effect, is followed and is complete
  • Leads continuous improvement projects for the Shipping/Receivng and Warehouse
  • Creates common supply chain processes and procedures.
  • Drives and contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.
  • Coaches and mentors one or two levels of direct reports; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
  • Is a safety leader by partnering with the Safety Coordinator and Manager on company safety initiatives, improvements, projects and best practices
  • Partners with the Quality department to ensure processes are followed per the Oil Lift Quality Program
  • Other duties as required.

Position Details:

  • Working at the Calgary facility dominantly
  • Permanent
  • Full-time
  • Mainly working day shift operations, with overtime as required
  • Weekend or night shift may be required dependent on business conditions

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry an asset
  • Experience in a manufacturing/assembly facility
  • Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving experience an asset

Physical Demands

  • Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
  • Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day
