Consumer Product Manager (Lawn & Garden Small Equipment)

We are looking for a Lawn & Garden/Small Equipment Products Manager (Consumer Products Manager). In this position you will oversee the Consumer Product sales activities for multiple locations. This includes the implementation of Sales Department objectives and sales processes.

Responsibilities

This individual’s responsibilities include:

• Act as a liaison with whole-goods suppliers (full line of lawncare products, small equipment, and attachments for commercial and golf/turf applications)

• Responsible for whole-goods inventory analysis, and stocking strategy

• Regular travel to each branch to coordinate product needs with sales team

• Developing consumer product market share for all store locations

• Working with Complete Goods Manager to develop and implement LGE sales strategies

• Implement and execute marketing strategies, working with Marketing team

• Continuous research and development of strategies to grow the LGE division

Requirements

This would be an ideal position if you have:

• A minimum Grade 12 education; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or Marketing is preferred

• Knowledge of LGE and Agriculture related equipment

• 3+ years of equipment sales experience

• Effective communication and relationship building skills

• Ability to use standard desktop applications, such as Microsoft Office suite
