Description:

Our client is a trusted contractor with partnerships across Canada and abroad. They are currently looking for a quality lead to join them at the Airproducts expansion project just north of Sherwood Park. The selected candidate would have experience leading a quality team of 3-5 inspectors. Our client has been awarded the concrete scope of the project which will run from now for the next 6-8 weeks. anticipated project finish is end of September/early October. This will be a fast paced project and the selected candidate needs to have experience working in a similar environment previously.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE

• 10-15 years of concrete inspection experience
• Civil concrete experience. Specifically with mass pours/pedestals/slabs/walls/curbs/machinery base or blocks/backfill and compaction
• 5+ years as a Lead where they have managed 3-5 direct reports
• Excellent communication skills (will be client facing)
• Experience with concrete pre-pour inspection experience – rebar, forms, anchor bolt placement
• Experience concrete placing & curing
• Experience with post pour inspections
• The ability to manage the associated quality records (ITPs and NCRs)
• Excellent time and paperwork management
• Experience receiving materials
• CSTS 20
• Experience with CSA23.1, 23.2
• Most recent WHIMIS
• MS Office

• Piling inspection experience
• Someone who has handles compliance issues
