You have well established organizational skills, a high level of motivation and a desire to work in a fast-paced team environment. You communicate clearly and you successfully manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. You were born with a creative streak and love to design and build new ideas. You may not be “instafamous” but you sound pretty awesome to us!

As our Communications Co-op, you will have the opportunity to learn from and work with our Director of Communications to support a variety of communication activities. During this 8-month Co-op term, you will coordinate the production of collateral materials and will be responsible for the sponsorship, donation and scholarship commitments for Canfor’s “Good Things Come From Trees” community giving program. Your keen eye for aesthetics and details will help you design compelling PowerPoint presentations, draft content for internal and external audiences and post engaging content to our social media channels.

To qualify for this role, you are currently enrolled in a communications or design focused Co-op program, and in a perfect world, you are fluent in Microsoft Office and have basic layout and editing skills. Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) will “highlight” your application.
