Shay Tire is looking for a full-time Commercial / Farm Tire Technician at our Berwick location!

This position will be responsible for changing and repairing a wide variety of tires - commercial truck tires, Farm and Agricultural tires, passenger/light truck tires - as well as participating in road service calls, and other duties as required in our busy tire and auto service center.

This is a physically demanding job with heavy lifting and requires you to be on your feet, bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.

Job Type / Category

Specific Skills:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repair tires in a safe and efficient manner
• Participate in road service callsA
• Unloading and loading shipments as needed
• Mild cleaning / organizing of shop
• Assist mechanics and perform other duties as needed

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• Experience changing tires is an asset, however, not needed if willing to learn
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a positive can-do attitude and commitment to the position
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to provide a driving record (abstract) from Access NS
