The following minimum qualifications are required:

Must have ECE I qualification.

• Emergency First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Be at least 18 years of age at the time of commencement of employment
• Produce a criminal records and vulnerable sector check report upon hiring

Role and Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including social media and personal discussions.
• Looking after the health and safety of the children, and ensuring proper hygiene
• Cleaning of toys and rooms on a regular basis
• Providing a safe and supportive environment for the children
• Working with children between the ages of 22 months and 5 years
• Planning fun and creative classroom curriculum and activities

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Summerside, PE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
