Job description:

Allstate is transforming to adapt to our customers’ needs in today’s operating environment with a focus on our strategic growth priorities. The Change Enablement Consultant is a Subject Matter Expert on designing, planning, executing, and monitoring change management components as part of key transformation initiatives that have significant impact to people, processes, and technology. Reporting to the Manager, Change Enablement, this role will also have a direct relationship with different areas and key stakeholders throughout the organization. The successful candidate should have proven experience designing and implementing change strategies for multi-year, organization-wide transformation initiatives and ability to build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders.

Accountabilities:

  • Create and execute a change management plan based on the initiative that’s being supported. This includes, delivering simplified communications and resources, garnering stakeholder evaluations, adoption plans, change resources, risk assessments and integrating all components of the change engagement activations (employee experience, communications, training, employee relations) for a smooth implementation.
  • Working closely with the communications, and learning & development teams to provide appropriate input, support for execution and facilitation as required.
  • Assess and ensure customer/employee/stakeholder impacts are properly understood and managed.
  • Lead the development and implementation of evaluation efforts to track and ensure stakeholder readiness.
  • Engage appropriate stakeholders to identify and advise/support required outcomes of projects for the business.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to change adoption. This includes identifying pockets of resistance to the change and propose approaches to mitigate them which will often require engaging leadership.
  • Work with the program or project team to put together measurement dashboard that highlights clear KPIs for change enablement strategies to report on the engagement.
  • Create a forum for sharing the results of change management practices which will require this individual to measure, track and report against the project outcomes

Qualifications:

  • A degree with an emphasis in Business, Human Resources, Communications
  • Certification in Change Management i.e.: Prosci
  • 4+ years’ experience designing and implementing change strategies on medium to large strategic initiatives, ideally in the insurance industry, professional services, telecommunications, or the financial sector.
  • Experience in the following areas: Change Management, Communications, Training, and Culture change.
  • Proven experience leading and executing integrated change strategies to support large, organization-wide transformation initiatives ideally focused on technology adoption.
  • Ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong relationship-building, diplomacy, and consultation skills, along with audience needs-assessment capabilities.
  • Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong facilitation, problem solving and high level of oral and written communication skills, with the ability to make complex information easy to understand.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple project engagements simultaneously among multiple stakeholders, this requires project management knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead/influence others to achieve goals
  • Advanced Microsoft Office: Power Point, Excel
