Whom we are looking for: Customer service oriented Cashier at Granville Island public Market

Our customers signify the whole lot to our business therefore any new employee who will be willing to join our team must fully comply with the following requirements:

• Provide friendly, efficient and personal service to each customer striving for the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Accurately process transactions using old style registries and memorizing inventory prices
• Maintain familiarity with product and quality standards on regular basis
• Communicate with team members and management to solve problems and improve customer shopping experience.
• Support a positive work environment
• Strong attention to detail and a healthy respect for cleanliness and sanitation
• Respect for fellow employees needs and helping fellow employees to succeed in providing exceptional service our customers expect
• Ability to multi-task with ease
• Excellent communication skills in English language both verbal and written

We are looking for a candidate who has previous food retail experience and open availability for a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends and is able to start anytime from 7:00am-3:00pm.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

Salary: $18.00 per hour

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• grocery retail: 1 year (preferred)
