Campground Manager Wanted:

Company Overview: Swanlake RV and Campground is a family-run company with a desire to provide a space of beauty and rest for any sojourner who finds themself in need of a short-term camping stay. We love for others to enjoy the solace provided by the water, the wildlife, and the sounds of nature. We are currently seeking a dedicated Campground Manager to join our team and lead the operations of our quiet little campground.

Position Overview: As the Campground Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning of our campground. You will overseeing various aspects, including guest services, facility maintenance, and overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service Excellence:

• Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for campers.
• Respond promptly and professionally to camper inquiries and concerns.
• Foster positive relationships with campers to enhance their overall experience.

2. Campground Operations:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the campground.
• Implement and enforce campground policies and rules.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the campground facilities and grounds.

3. Reservations and Check-ins:

• Manage campground reservations and coordinate check-in/check-out processes.
• Utilize reservation software to track bookings and availability

4. Equipment operations

• Able to operate ride-on mower, skid-steer and manage trailer parking logistics

5. Maintenance and Upkeep

• Capable of routine maintenance and repairs for campground facilities and equipment.
• Monitor campground infrastructure to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in campground management or related outdoor hospitality roles.
• Ability to assist with RV trailer parking
• Handy with tools, comfortable with ride on mower, and yard care equipment
• Friendly interpersonal and communication skills on the phone and in person.
• Familiarity with reservation and campground management software (training provided)
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
• Construction experience would be an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
