Job Description
  • The Calibration Dataset Manager is responsible for managing all hybrid and engine controller calibration datasets to support vehicle development, milestones and vehicle manufacturing.
  • This will include building development calibrations regularly for powertrain calibration teams to test during their development while thoroughly documenting calibrations changes and conducting calibration comparisons.
  • Lastly, the Calibration Dataset Manager will be responsible for preparing all calibration related Certification and Running Change documentation for Production Releases.
  • The Calibration Dataset Manager will support the calibration team on a daily and weekly basis and be fully integrated into the development of the hybrid propulsion system. The engineer should expect to potentially perform release DVP&Rs in vehicle to ensure validity of the releases prior to distribution.
  • The individual will have also demonstrated the ability to work well with others and be able to effectively communicate both remotely and in person. The engineer must be a team player, supporting and promoting team accomplishments versus person achievement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in Automotive or similar industry, related to embedded control systems.
  • Ability to learn quickly and utilize Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, OneNote, etc.) effectively.
  • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and with others.
  • Ability to balance work effectively on multiple issues.
  • Action a disciplined test plan and verification process to ensure quality calibrations are released.
Preferred Requirements
  • Knowledge of Propulsion systems including hybrids.
  • Knowledge of calibration of engine, transmission or hybrid propulsion systems.
  • Knowledge of software development and releasing.
