Szio+is searching for a Marketing Manager who aspires to be part of a rapidly growing startup in the health and wellness space. Our products are natural, clinically proven and doctor recommended supplements focused on chronic areas such as urinary tract health and iron deficiency anemia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the direct-to-consumer marketing strategies and tactics for the Utiva brand.
  • Lead the consumer initiatives include managing all the campaigns online for paid acquisition (emails, SEO, PPC and social). Traditional initiatives are PR, influencers, publications and events that help support brand nationally.
  • Supporting online marketplaces (Amazon, well.ca etc) and physical retail (pharmacies, health food stores) requirements for promotions, education campaigns and operations.
  • Exploring and presenting new ideas: Growth is all about experimentation, so you will be expected to come up with new growth experiments, research your ideas, and present them in both verbal and written form.
  • Organic user acquisition: You will help define, create, launch, and iterate upon various campaigns to promote organic (unpaid) user acquisition. This can range from community engagements, unconventional PR to increase the virality of Utiva.
  • Optimize and execute the brand marketing strategy aligning with company goals. Drive consistent communication of the brand voice and brand management across the organization and externally.
  • Lead the creative and copywriting for all brand marketing materials and organic social posts.
  • Own and manage the brand website and social channels to ensure it is well optimized for conversions and fulfills the brand promise of education and support.
  • Manage agencies and contract workers for paid acquisition, website development and any graphics work.
  • Manage the reporting infrastructure to analyze qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights (LTV, CAC, contribution margin, channel ROAS targets, retention cohorts, customer churn feedback, and more

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

  • Past experience in rapidly growing a healthcare CPG brand is essential. You will be accountable for the brand ethos and it’s success.
  • Online direct to consumer experience is required. US market is preferable. A key part of our brand’s success is driving users to shop online and support them in our community.
  • A successful candidate is creative, analytical, a strong communicator and organized.
  • Time management and effective prioritization. The role requires someone who is used to juggling several tasks simultaneously and operating under uncertainty. You will need to work both hard and smart; one alone will not suffice.
  • An insatiable drive to make things better. While prioritization is paramount, no detail is too small to go unaddressed. You should constantly be looking at every process, feature, assumption, and screen, and asking, “How can we make this better?”
  • Self-starter. You love being in the weeds and are known for rolling up your sleeves to get things done. You don’t let roadblocks get in the way of getting things done; the only limits to what you can do are governed by the laws of physics.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Shopify, Klaviyo/Omnisend, Google Analytics, Recharge, Zapier.
  • Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in commerce, life sciences, economics or arts and science
  • 5+ years in a high-paced work environment. Start-up experience or corporate in the healthcare CPG space is an asset
