Job DescriptionOur busy distribution branch in Edmonton, AB requires a Class 3 Truck Driver to make deliveries to our customers and job sites while providing great customer service. When not on deliveries, you will be a valued member of our warehouse team, helping with the accurate shipping and receiving of product.General Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload product using the appropriate equipment.
• Know our product and your route. We value our customer(s) time – we get it right the first time.

Shipping & Receiving

• Pick orders and prepare them in staging areas for delivery
• Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks
• Pick orders for immediate pick-up
• Ensure accuracy of order against paperwork
• Move incoming product to the designated location in the branch

Customer Service

• Greet customers by addressing them verbally when you are on a job site or when working in the warehouse
• Serve customers immediately or indicate that they will be helped as quickly as we can manage

QualificationsEducation/Experience/Skill

• Valid Class 3 drivers license
• High school education required
• Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences
• Forklift certified an asset
• Experience in a warehouse environment an asset

Environment & Physical/Mental Demands

• Must be able to safely lift 50lbs
• Must be able to operate material handling equipment
• Distribution branch physical environment: noise, fluctuating temperature due to bay doors being open, constant stimulation of senses (visual, audio distractions)
