Robert Half is on the lookout for a socially adept, team-minded individual to join a respected company in the Business services industry. This part-time Bookkeeper position requires the candidate to be proficient with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting. Located in the Oshawa, Ontario area, this part-time Bookkeeper position is a long-term contract that you do not want to miss.

Your responsibilities in this role

• Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
• Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
• Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits
• Balance accounts by reconciling entries
• Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
• Uphold quality historical records by filing documents
• Conduct and manage the general ledger
  

Requirements

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
• Bookkeeping experience desired
• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
• Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
