Description

Use your talents as a Bookkeeper in a newly available position that Robert Half is looking to fill. This Bookkeeper position requires the candidate to be proficient with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting. The long-term contract / temporary Bookkeeper will work in the Delta, British Columbia area.

What you get to do every day

• Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
• Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
• Examine payments received and record deposits
• Look after archived records by categorizing documents
• Monitor accounts by balancing entries
• Preside over and review general ledger
• Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  

Requirements

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
• Microsoft Excel experience
• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
• Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
