What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Production Manager, our Boat Assemblers are responsible for product construction and assembly.
This includes:
· Assembling prefabricated parts to form canoes and kayaks
· Measure, cut, sand, and bend pieces
· Caulking when required
· Inspecting assembled product for defects
· Minor repairs and adjustments when necessary
Who you are:
· Minimum 3 years previous general labour experience
· Experience using air tools, jigs, drills, and tape measures
· Understands the quality properties of molds. It would be an asset if you can make judgements on the correct shrinkage and maintain necessary tolerances.
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· A team player, willing to help others towards a similar goal
· Your work is completed with Health & Safety as a number one priority
