Behaviour Interventionist

We are looking for a behaviour interventionist (BI) to run home-based ABA sessions with an energetic, happy and playful 3.5-year-old boy on the autism spectrum. The sessions will be in person at the learner’s home, play-based program, and training will be provided under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Some of the learner’s goals are language goals, play goals, following instructions, and social engagement with adults.

As a BI, you are responsible for implementing individualized behavioural plans, recording the data, participating in the scheduled team meetings, and collaborating with other team members and professionals.

• Location: North Burnaby
• Days: Tuesday ( anytime from 2-5 pm)
• Fluent in English (knowledge of Farsi language is an asset)
• Applicants in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, and Speech & Language Pathology fields are encouraged to apply
• Experienced working with young children
• Experienced working with children with special needs is an asset

There are opportunities to join the other teams based on your schedule and performance.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week
