B-Pressure Hand Welder Journeyperson

JARDEG is currently seeking a B-Pressure Hand Welder Journeyperson to join the SHELL Scotford project team on site near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This is a FULL TIME position on a 6/1 shift schedule starting March 22, 2022.

Living out allowance (LOA) and Travel Allowance program available for qualified candidates living 120km outside of project location

Welders join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop patterns for projects or follow directions given in layouts, blueprints and work orders.
• Clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch.
• Weld parts together.

Requirements:

• All journeymen must have Alberta and/or Red Seal Trade certificate.
• Alberta B Pressure ticket or equivalent if from another province.
