*This position is 100% ONSITE. You must be local to the Ontario Province (Near Kanata/Ottawa) to be considered for this position*

POSITION SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be part of the Test Automation & Tools Development team, which delivers software solutions that facilitate automated testing of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies. You will develop and maintain automated test scripts, test frameworks, and test tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements, and implement required test tools and tests scripts
• Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the target under test
• Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing
• Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the test management system and defect tracking system
• Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints

Skills Required:

• Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (ie: Slash)
• Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)
• Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving

Skills Preferred:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience Required:

• Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with Test Case management system (ie: TestRail) and Defect Tracking system (ie: JIRA)
• Experience with database (SQL)
• Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivate capabilities are key qualities
