What is the role? As an Intern, you’re looking to apply your talent, ambition and curiosity to gain valuable work experience in an environment that enables you to reach your full potential. Throughout the one-year internship contact you will gain meaningful work experiences, build a network and develop relationships with key stakeholders within the business network and receive customized professional development. What will you do? First 6 months: join our Personal & Commercial banking operations centres to build your communication and team work skills while interacting directly with clients. Next 3 months: work with one of our charitable partners, helping to make a difference and strengthen communities. Final 3 months: Build on all that you’ve learned and tackle projects in one of RBC’s head office functions such as HR, marketing, finance, technology and strategy. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Team-focused, collaborative and able to build strong relationships Eager to embrace new opportunities and acquire new skills Committed to quality work and consistently meeting task-oriented goals Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and dependable Eligibility Legally entitled to work in Canada for the duration of the program (March 2023-March 2024), and not currently employed by RBC Available to work in selected cities for the duration of the contract and able to attend an in-person panel interview in any one of the selected cities If applying for Montreal, must be fully bilingual in French & English What’s in it for you?
