Role Responsibilities:

• Write engaging scripts for all videos following our brand and communications guidelines
• Create, present, and refine detailed shot lists to capture all elements outlined in pre-production brief
• Project Manage team productions to ensure on-time delivery
• Produce, and edit video productions independently and alongside other members of the Video Production Team when needed
• Strategize with other members of the Marketing Team on methods to reach our target audiences
• Ensure the brand is consistently represented across all areas of video
• Stay current on video and marketing trends
• Other tasks as assigned
  
  

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintain high level of quality content, even when series are produced in separate projects over the course of several months or quarters
• Be present at productions as needed to coach talent, script supervise, coordinate wardrobe and talent styling, as well as assess makeup needs.
• Review scripts with video producers and effectively communicate the vision, branding, tone, and style of each project utilizing creative briefs and other internal documentation
• Track and manage progress at all stages of the production lifecycle
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience creating videos in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the technology sector
• A college degree or university diploma in video and/or film production, graphic design, marketing, or a related field
• Strong written communication skills with demonstrated experience crafting video scripts
• Experience in project management platforms such as Basecamp and Airtable amongst others
• Intermediate knowledge of image composition, lighting principles, audio production, direction and set design
• Power-user of Adobe Creative Suite and Word Processing software
• Demonstrated experience in colour correction and audio editing
• Ability to effectively storyboard
• Strong understanding of brand and design guidelines
• Demonstrated ability to lead production with efficiency and confidence
• Effective communicator and responsive to edits and suggestions
• Prior experience working a part of a dynamic marketing team is an asset
