If you answered yes to the questions above and are looking for a long-term job, we are currently looking for someone just like you. The production assembler is part of a team working along the production line to manually assemble mechanical and electronic components of

complex and high-density products. This role is for the afternoon/or midnight shift. Training provided along with shift

premium.

Responsibilities

• Manual assembly of Electronic components including complex and high-density projects according to

assembly books, custom specs and quality standards

• Ensure full compliance with all applicable quality assurance standards and internal SOPs

• Component preparation, placement or installation

• Perform hand soldering and rework of all thru-hole, SMT, mixed and mechanical assemblies and custom

parts as per Engineering specifications and IPC workmanship standards

• Final assembly and/or pack and ship as required

• Participate in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set requirements are

met and updated regularly

Qualifications

• Color identification is a requirement of this role

• A team player with good communication skills (ability to work with customers), and a positive attitude.

• Previous experience working in the following is an asset (but not limited to):
  • SMT/TH or Mix Tech assembly (hand soldering, inspection, rework, mechanical assembly skills)
  • Worked in Electronics or Manufacturing companies
  • Lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Set-up, maintenance, and calibration of test stations.
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Test Software).
