TYCROP is looking for an Assemblerto join our team in the Fraser Valley.

Responsibilities:

• Paint touch-ups and truck detailing
• The installation of purchased, assembled and preassembled components to product on the production line
• Assemble product components to maintain published schedule as directed
• Examine product for proper fit and function
• Lift/move assemblies & components to and on to the production line
• Completion of assigned tasks
• Practice safe work procedures at all times; lead by example
• Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques an asset
• Experience in Paint touch-up will be preferred

Skills:

• Read & interpret blueprints/drawing specifications. Manual or processes
• Follow oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population.
• Air system, chassis, hydraulic, mechanical knowledge
• Operate general hand & air tools for assembly and installations
• Operation of hand tools/power tools, and handle small objects
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Color distinction, good vision
• Ability to work independently, but also team-oriented
