To assist the engineering team with the production of electrical engineering drawings, calculations and reports. Undertake site surveys and inspections. Grow towards undertaking small design projects under the supervision of the senior engineers.

Junior Technologist - London, Canada

An Architectural Technologist with Revit experience is required to prepare architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings under the supervision of the engineers and CAD/ BIM Lead. Minimum 2 years Revit experience is required for this position.

Your Day To Day

• Supervised production of working drawings using Revit or AutoCAD
• Coordinate with Engineering and/or Architectural team as required.
• Prepare and perform mechanical design for HVAC, plumbing, life safety, and process operation systems.
• Assist in the supervised preparation of project specifications.
• Perform site visits and produce written reports in a supervised environment on behalf of project engineers.
• Perform supervised field measuring including field surveying
• Assists in the preparation of technical reports
  

Who You Are

• Education Level – Minimum Requirement: College Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• Years of Experience: 0-5 years previous full-time work experience
  

Skills And Competencies

• To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to have, or to gain proficiency in the following; AutoCAD, Revit Architecture/ Structure/ MEP, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• A good working knowledge of the Ontario Building code would be an advantage.
